Hello!
My mail/instagram information is at the bottom, feel free to send me a message for any questions you might have!
Use the link below to go to Alchemy Tattoo's website, and select what you'd like to book for: a consultation, or a tattoo session. I will always reach out via email (or text) after an appointment request has been made if no previous consultation was done, to make sure I can understand the idea and prepare a good design for your tattoo.*I do: Cute, illustrative, crayon, fineline.
*I do NOT do: Realism, portraits, script/lettering, pixel art, watercolor, geometrical. After the request has been made, I will send an invoice via email for a non-refundable $50 deposit, this comes off the final price of your tattoo. Once paid, your appointment will be accepted and the date secured :)
**Please read before your appointment !
- You can start moisturizing the area for the tattoo a week before the appointment, this will help the needle apply the ink easier and with less damage.
- Please don't drink alcohol for at least 24hrs before the tattoo, as it affects how much you bleed during the session.
- Feel free to bring anything you need for the appointment! If you'd feel better wearing headphones, having some kind of fidget, any snacks you'd want.. etc.
- Make sure you get a good meal before the appointment so you don't get any dizziness!
- English is not my first language (spanish is!) and I'm a shy person as well, so I might not talk much during the session, but I'll always love to have a conversation if you want to talk about anything! :D
Hello hello! My name's Andy (pronouns: they/them preferred), and I also use the nickname Shizo. I'm originally from Mexico, where I'd been tattooing for almost three years before I moved to St. Louis, and now I'm working on getting my license in Missouri.I've always loved drawing and I have a degree in Design, I love cute art and I love being able to do cute tattoos!
I'm a big geek and animal lover, I love doing tattoos related to anime/video games and also pet portraits :) I'm hoping I can bring more cuteness into the tattoo industry.
*Plastic wrap: leave on for 2 hours or until you get home after getting the tattoo.
*Second skin: I suggest leaving it on for at least 2 days (or a maximum of 4). I recommend this video to show you how to peel it off correctly and take care of the tattoo afterwards.
- I've used Aveeno or Palmer's Cocoa butter to moisturize my tattoos and they're great, but you can also use Vitamin A&D ointment or Aquaphor.
- If you still have some adhesive residue, I've found that baby/coconut oil works well to remove it.
- Note: It's normal to see liquid under the second skin; it's just a combination of blood, ink and plasma and it aids the healing process.
- If at any point you see redness and/or it becomes itchy around the edges, peel off the second skin as you might be having a reaction to the adhesive.*Avoid:
- Saunas and swimming pools for at least 3 weeks so your new tattoo doesn't get infected.
- Wearing tight clothes, as they add extra friction and can rub off scabs.
- Picking or scratching your tattoo. I know it can get really itchy, but if the scabs get removed early it can lead to areas with faded ink. You can gently tap the area to help a bit.
- Exercise that would involve heavy sweating or contact with the fresh tattoo.
- Direct sunlight. I don't recommend wearing sunscreen over the tattoo during the first 2-3 weeks as it can block pores and make it heal poorly.
